Android TV : How to Change Screen Resolution FULL HD, 4K, 8K | Change Display Resolution

This article shows how to change screen resolution of android TV. Android TV has provided an option to change the resolution based on our requirements, options are 8K, 4K, Full HD, and HD. Normally android TV will auto select the best resolution for the TV, but user can change it.

Procedures to Follow:

Go to settings, select Display, then select screen resolutions, you would be able to see the list of supported resolutions, please select one resolution from the list and apply it. This way we can change the display resolution of the TV.

 Steps:

  • Settings
  • Display
  • Screen Resolutions
  • Select One Resolution from the list
  • Apply the selected resolution

Smart TV : How to Stop / Block Auto Update of Pre-Installed Apps or System Apps in any Smart TV

This article shows how to stop auto update of preinstalled apps or system apps. Some times update of system apps would break the functionality of the smart TV, hence we need an option to control the update of the system apps. Android Smart TV has provided an option to control auto update of the system and preinstalled apps. This option is available in the google play-store app.

Go to settings, then click on apps, then select see all apps, open google play-store from the installed apps list, then select settings of play store app, then select auto update apps options and disable it
